#RANDOMACTSOFPIZZA AT TEDx WINNIPEG

TEDx was created in the spirit of TED‘s mission, “ideas worth spreading.” It supports independent organizers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community.

#COMMUNITYMATTERS AT MYAC

We love to give back the communities that we call home, that’s why our Parkside Village location is supporting the Mississauga Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) today with fresh pizza to fuel their monthly Youth Connect! MYAC is a non-profit organization for the city’s youth to meet new people, discuss issues affecting adolescents, and learn about opportunities to make a positive difference in their communities.

TO CIDER FESTIVAL

Summer is almost over, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to be! The Toronto Cider Festival returns Saturday, September 26th at Younge and Dundas Square, and will showcase some of Canada’s best hard ciders like Waupoos, Thornbury, Angry Orchard and Pommies. You can wet your whistle, checkout live bands, DJ’s and delicious food from the GTA’s food truck army!

Events like this don’t happen without the hard work of dedicated volunteers, so our Gerrard Street location decided to fuel their training session with a #RandomActsOfPizza party to say thanks for making this celebration a success. We hope they enjoy our fresh fresh pizza and that the attendees make the most of this thirst quenching harvest in the city! #CommunityMatters

#HACK4HEALTH

Props to the University of Waterloo for hosting this year’s Hack4Health which facilitates an open environment for the development of practical applications for people living with MS, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Through their Faculty of Applied Health Sciences and the Murray Alzheimer Research and Education Program, this two day hackathon brings together computer programmers, software developers, graphic designers and project managers to collaborate in an effort to create new and accessible technology for those who need it most.

Hack4Health is a continuous 48 hour weekend event and our Waterloo location decided the hard working hackers could use some extra fuel on the Saturday night. We hope all the participants enjoy our fresh pizza, and we can’t wait to see what they develop for such a worthwhile cause.
